My Story

Hi, my name is Ali. Thank you for considering my home for your stay in Long Beach.

I’ve spent half my life in the Bay Area and half in Southern California. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona and later went on to study law at UC Berkeley.

I bought this house as my first property with the goal of getting into real estate. I chose a layout with an ADU so I could live in the back unit and rent out the front, which gave me my start in the California housing market.

Long Beach allows short-term rentals with proper licensing, and the city collects a 13% occupancy tax that helps fund local services. This home is over 100 years old and full of character. I’ve hosted more than 250 guest groups over the past three years and have earned Superhost status on both Airbnb and VRBO. Because this is my only property, I take a lot of pride in it. It’s not managed by a third party or investment company—I handle everything myself. I work hard to keep the home clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, and I care deeply about every guest’s experience.
