Downtown is 4 minutes from Ali’s place. It was very walkable and close to the brewery and food spots. CVS/rite aide were close. PROS: space for cars in driveway, enough beds for all of us (most on first night was 8), had basic things needed for cooking, clean slate (not much in the way but had basics you needed), I personally love craftsman style so that was nice. Upstairs was always cool and the two bedrooms were nice and cool at night. NEUTRAL: beds were firm, I don’t personally like that but I know lots of people do. Pillows in downstairs room were very comfy. Dining room table had lots of space so we could all sit together. Not child friendly (no high chair, toys, baby gates, but we brought so it’s ok)CONS: ac (1 wall unit in living room) downstairs isn’t very strong so when we cooked it got a little hot. The floor was a little dirty-feet were black when we walked on it. We had a broom but a mop would be nice (plus I had small kids so when they spilled food I couldn’t really cle
This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful! I stayed here for my bachelorette, and my girls and I had a wonderful time. Everything was spotless, and the host maintained excellent communication throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again!
the fans and lights in the bedroom need attention. You can not turn off the lights unless you also turn off the fan. So, we had to remove the light bulbs at night in order to keep the fan running during the night. No central AC. Warm blankets in summer time? The kitchen has a fan, but no fan in the living area or the dining area. The sofa cushions are dirty. The wall cabinet is broken and held together with an ottoman. The drive way is extremely narrow and very hard to get in and out of your car when parked. You can only park 2 cars safely without damaging your car. There is a noticeable smell as soon as you enter the house. The cabinets in the bedroom are dated. The website says newly renovated, but i think it’s only somethings that have been repaired. It really needs a lot of work. It’s an old house, but can be preserved better and make it more modern.Garage in the back of the house (owner’s garage) has bright motion sensitive lights that came on at midnight when trying to sleep.
We were very happy with our stay. Everything was clean, we had everything we needed, and we enjoyed our time here.
